You can feel the strength and durability of the Hideaway as soon as you walk in. The prefabricated greenhouse is made from high strength, extruded aluminum with a white or green baked enamel finish. It is covered with 8-mm clear Polycarbonate, which has a UV protective layer co-extruded onto the sheet.

It provides an 82% soft diffused sunlight which results in lush, green plants. The covering allows high light transmission, tensile strength and flame retardancy. The greenhouse comes with gasketed bar caps to make "Do it Yourself" assembly simple while providing strength for the structure.

This greenhouse was designed to be built by a homeowner, not requiring a professional builder. It can also be easily disassembled if you move. The greenhouse comes with easy to follow assembly instructions. Just think, you can start gardening in as little as 6 hours of delivery of your Hideaway.

Well, I finally got the slab poured to set the greenhouse on. My city wanted a 42 inch deep footing dug around the slab instead of the standard 24 inch ratwall, but at least I feel sure that the slab won't shift or heave during the winter freeze.

Thank you for taking an interest in how I feel about my purchase. I started to assemble it the other day, and it seems to be going good. My wife is excited to start using it, so I will finish it soon. (It was a surprise birthday gift.)
